If you are experienced with computers then you will have to go into the registry - here is a site that explains it pretty well. (it's a forum)

This forum explains to you how to empty the Temp Internet Folder when Explorer is closed.

There are several folders that are inside the Temperary Internet Files Folder. If you are running 2000 or XP, then you will have to go into each user and empty ALL the files by hand. They are hard to find because they are under a hidden folder in each user.

First open Windows Explorer.... Tools --%26gt; Folder Options --%26gt; View Tab --%26gt; Show all files and Folders ......

Now go to your C: Drive and open "Documents and Settings" --%26gt; USER NAME --%26gt; Local Setting --%26gt; Temperary Internet Files

Do this for all users ..... and it wouldn't hurt to clear your "Temp" and your "History" folder either.

There is a program out that will clear your INDEX.dat files for your - it's called index.dat suite and can be found at http://www.webattack.com/get/indexdatsui...

go to history and delete it
I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but click Tools --%26gt; Internet Options --%26gt; Delete Files, and Clear History. That should do it.
