I am connected to the wireless internet but cannot open websites up. Traveled to foreign country and the cafe shop changed a certain setting for me to use it there. Don't know what they did but now back home and cant open up webpages at home. Have windows XP...please help!!

they might have changed something to a proxy setting. Go to tools options and check the settings for lan/settings. should be automatic

Go into Internet Options from the Tools menu in IE, and then into the connections tab, look or LAN settings, and blank it all out under proxy. See if that works.
try this.
go to tools-%26gt;internet option
check every tab and if possible set to default setting.
or
you may try firefox browser
Idk but this might work.. see Internet Explorer Properties -%26gt; Security then set the Internet to Default level.. good luck
